Proposed Changes to School Admissions Criteria September 26/27

The Governors of Hinchley Wood School and the Trustees of the Hinchley Wood Learning Partnership are conducting an information gathering exercise ahead of a formal consultation process regarding the following possible changes to the Hinchley Wood School (HWS) Admissions criteria.

The consultation must take place for at least six weeks between 1 October 2024 and 31 January 2025. Further information about the proposed consultation and how to formally respond will be published on our website soon. 

Hinchley Wood School Proposed Admissions Criteria Changes for September 2026:

It is proposed that we will conduct a formal consultation on making the following changes to the HWS Admissions criteria for the September 2026 intake (current Y4):

1. Increasing the Hinchley Wood School Published Admission Number (PAN) from 210 to 220. 

2. Introducing a new Category 5: Children attending one of the HWLP Trust primary feeder schools (Hinchley Wood Primary School and Thames Ditton Junior School) and introducing a new Category 6: Children attending the following feeder schools: Long Ditton St Mary’s Junior School and Claygate Primary School.
