Yesterday we finally got to play last year’s Y7 County Cup Final. Our team put in a fantastic performance, beating a strong Howard of Effingham side with 5 overs to spare. Special shoutout to Dylan who was named Man of the Match by the umpires! Well done to all the players!

Record breaking GCSE Results - 51% of all grades are Grade 7 and above (23% nationally). 33% of all grades are Grade 8 or 9. 234 grade 9s and 12 9-9 grades in Combined Science. 88% of students achieved 5 or more GCSEs including English and Maths. 92% of grades are at G4 or above.

This week our STEM Explorers showcased some some incredible experiments, including: building a 24-hour analogue clock, designing a hoverboard & studying bacteria under UV radiation. Students proudly presented their findings on posters to students and staff.

Year 13

Year 13 A- Level Exams will take place from Monday 11th May to Thursday 18th June, with a contingency session designated for any national or significant local disruption on 24th June 2026. The full timetable will be available in April. MFL Speaking exams will be scheduled on Thursday 7th May, MFL teachers will confirm the details. Individual candidate timetables will be sent to students and their parents / carers via InTouch in April.

Students are advised to familiarise themselves with the requirements for written public examinations in the Student Examinations Handbook. You can also find details of the exam boards for each subject, which you may find useful if you are purchasing revision guides. Further subject information can be found on the exam board websites. You can also download both documents below.

All Art and Design subject practicals will take place in April. Subject teachers will provide further information.
