Certificates
GCSE and A Level Certificates
You can collect your GCSE and A Level Certificates from Reception during school office hours. Please avoid lunchtime and other busy times. You will be asked to sign for the certificates to confirm receipt and may be asked for ID. Alternatively, we can post the certificates to you in board-backed envelopes via recorded delivery to the home address currently held by the school. 2022/2023 GCSE and A Level Certificates can be collected from Reception during school office hours. Please avoid lunchtime and other busy times. You will be asked to sign for the certificates to confirm receipt.
If you would like someone else to collect your certificates on your behalf, you will need to provide written authorisation confirming this. When coming to collect the certificates, the signed authorisation letter will need to be handed in and ID shown. The person collecting the certificates will also be asked to sign for the certificates to confirm receipt.

Certificates are valuable documents, so please store them in a safe place. Students may need to produce them in the future if they apply for college, university or for a job, and they will not be able to obtain a replacement.
Lost Certificates
We hold certificates in our archives for 10 years. If we do not have your certificates, you are able to request details of your results from the awarding bodies by applying in person direct to the awarding body for replacements. Click on the link ‘complete the application form online’. There are five steps to the application, you will be required to upload an image of your identification.
WJEC: http://www.wjec.co.uk/students/certificates/
Scroll to the end of their window and select ‘Candidate’, this will provide additional information and a link to the application form.
Each awarding body will charge between £20 to £40 per certificate. A certificate will include all subjects certificated within an exam series for one level of qualification, therefore two or possibly three charges will apply per board if you are applying for GCSE, AS and A Level qualifications. Fees are payable directly by you to each awarding body and replacement certificates can take anywhere between 2 to 6 weeks to be delivered.
