Today, we were thrilled to welcome Year 6 pupils from TDJS for our Festival of Languages! HWS students led a fun-filled carousel of languages — from learning school subjects in Spanish and animals in Japanese, to months of the year in Arabic and food and sport in Italian!

Last night 50  amazing Year 8 students took on the challenge of a lifetime! Inspired by the  annual SleepOut, they swapped their warm beds for cardboard boxes and a night under the stars to experience life without a home.

A Level Sculpture Challenge

A Level Art & 3D Design students were tasked with a sculpture challenge designing site-specific sculptures inspired by local and distant locations, reflecting their history and unique qualities. Highlights included Kingston Marketplace, the Rose Theatre, and Camden Market. The winning designs were by Daisy B with the River Thames - a dynamic sculpture showcasing water and sailing and Jack S with the Brooklands Museum, blending its history with modern mechanics.

Massive congratulations to all participants for their creativity and dedication!
