A level Exam Results 2026
A huge well done to our Year 13 students for achieving absolutely fantastic A level results, and breaking school records! The Sixth Form area was full of celebration this morning with students congratulating each other, alongside staff, parents and carers. We knew they were a special year group and we are delighted that their hard work has paid off, with the vast majority now arranging their university accommodation.
Our headline A Level results are:

- 91% of grades awarded A*- C, again much higher than the BBC reported national figure of 79.1%.
- 99% of grades awarded A*- E, higher than the 97.5% national figure
A few individuals to highlight are:
- Josh H with 4A*s
- Annabel S with 2 A*s and 2 As

At the time of writing, 85 students have secured their first choice place and 13 students have secured their insurance place in a wide range of subjects, from medicine to business management to psychology. Three students are off to study at Oxbridge; James (History) and Annabel (Biology) at Oxford, and Josh (Economics) at Cambridge.
These outstanding results reflect the hard work and resilience of our students, as well as the dedication and expertise of our talented teachers, and the excellent pastoral care and support from our fantastic Sixth Form Team, led by Miss Gray and Mrs Brown.
“Wow. What an exceptional set of results for an exceptional year group. We could not be prouder of our Year 13 students and all that they have achieved. These results are a wonderful reflection of the incredible hard work, determination and resilience they have shown throughout their time with us.
This has been a particularly special year group, and one that will hold a very special place in our hearts. They have been an outstanding group of young people: talented, kind, ambitious and full of character. We have loved watching them grow, develop and flourish, and we feel incredibly privileged to have shared their journey with them.
As I said at their leavers’ assembly, it has been a genuine privilege to work alongside such an extraordinary group. They have made us laugh, challenged us, inspired us and, quite simply, made their mark on our school. We may not be supposed to have favourites, but if we did… this year group would certainly be very high on the list!
We know how much effort has gone into achieving these results, and we hope every single student takes a moment to recognise just how much they have accomplished. They should be immensely proud of themselves.
A huge congratulations to all of our Year 13 students. We wish them every happiness and success as they take their next steps, whether that is university, an apprenticeship, employment, travel or another exciting new adventure.
We will miss them enormously, but we hope they will keep in touch and remember that they will always be part of our school community. Well done, Year 13. You have made us incredibly proud.”
