Our Year 9 Language Leaders have once again demonstrated outstanding leadership and enthusiasm by delivering a series of engaging language lessons to Year 5 pupils at Hinchley Wood Primary School on Thursday 2nd July and Thursday 9th July.
Fourteen students planned and delivered a fantastic range of mini lessons in French, German, Spanish and Swedish across the three Year 5 classes. They invested a great deal of time and effort in creating interactive PowerPoint presentations, designing worksheets and developing fun games to help bring languages to life for the younger pupils.
The Language Leaders have been an exceptional group throughout the year, generously giving their time to support a variety of events and activities, including the Oktoberfest heart design sessions, Christmas biscuit baking and the Year 7 Easter bunting competition. Their help in promoting language learning and supporting the wider school community has been greatly appreciated.
A special thank you also goes to Miss Ervin, who accompanied our students to HWPS enabling them to share their passion for languages with the next generation of learners.
