Year 13 student Amelia M, who is studying Fashion and Textiles A-Level, collaborated with local stylist Karen Smyth to organise a fashion show raising funds for the St Nicholas’ Church Community Hub in Thames Ditton. Amelia helped style the outfits, managed backstage logistics, and worked with a team on production, hair, and make-up.
The show featured four Year 13 girls—Anya, Daisy, Chloe, and Maddie—along with a model from Esher College, each showcasing three outfits for Autumn, Winter, and Christmas. A preloved clothes sale followed, adding to the event’s success.
The hub provides vital community services, including cost-of-living advice, a café run by SEN students from St Philips, and food parcels in partnership with East Elmbridge Foodbank. The event raised £1,200, which will support the Hub’s running costs and the annual Christmas lunch for the community on December 17th.
The girls did a fantastic job and were a true credit to themselves and the school - well done!
